Skillet Chicken Bulgogi

Ingredients
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 ½ tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp cayenne
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- your choice of vegetables
Steps
- Whisk onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl until marinade is smooth.
- Brown (not fully cooked) chicken in a wok
- Remove chicken and sauté desired vegetables
- Remove vegetables and pour sauce into wok. Occasionally stir until it starts to simmer
- Add chicken back into wok and mix for about 1 minute
- Add sautéed vegetables to walk and mix then serve over rice
