Kolacky

Ingredients

  • 6 oz cream cheese (two 3oz packages)
  • ½ lb butter
  • 2 tbsp baking soda
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 cup pie filling (Plum, Strawberry, Cherry, etc.)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Steps

  1. Mix by HAND the cream cheese and butter (Fold butter in for flaky crust)
  2. Add sugar, baking powder, & flour and mix
  3. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut squares to size. Put on filling and fold tips of opposite ends
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly brown
  5. Dust with powdered sugar immediately after taking out of oven to ensure powdered sugar sticks to the kolacky
