Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 qts whole milk
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cinnamon
  • cinnamon sugar
Rice Pudding

Steps

  1. Bring milk to a low boiler (stir frequently)
  2. Add Rice
  3. Keep milk just under a boil for 35-40 (Cook rice until tender)
  4. In a Separate Bowl Mix eggs, sugar, and vanilla and mix. Add a cup of pudding to prevent the eggs from cooking and mix. Add to cooking rice. Continue stirring for 2 minutes and pour into pan.
  5. Sprinkle pudding top with a combination of cinnamon and cinnamon sugar to taste
  6. Let cool before coving to eliminate condensation
